Under the close supervision of a renowned organization - Underwriters Laboratories Inc. - safes in the Optima 2 line were tested under the most severe fire conditions.

The results of these tests - fire resistance at 927º C (1700ºF) during one hour, simulated explosion at 1100ºC (2000ºF) during 30 minutes, and a 10 metre (30 feet) fall onto a hard cement surface followed by a 30 minute exposure to intense heat were conclusive: contents always remained intact.
